Waiver & Liability Release

By booking a Movie at Moonlight event, the customer (“Host”) agrees to the following Waiver & Liability Release terms. These terms are in place to protect both the Host and Movie at Moonlight staff, and ensure a safe, enjoyable event experience for everyone.

 

1. Assumption of Risk

The Host acknowledges that the use of inflatable equipment, electronic devices, cords, chairs, and other rental items carries inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury or property damage.

By hosting an event, the Host voluntarily assumes all risks, known or unknown, associated with the use of Movie at Moonlight equipment and services.

 

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Host agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless Movie at Moonlight, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or injuries that may occur before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury to any guest or attendee

• Property damage at the event site

• Power outages or interruptions

• Weather-related incidents

• Equipment malfunction or misuse

 

3. Host Responsibility

The Host is fully responsible for:

• Ensuring the event space is safe, accessible, and suitable for setup

• Monitoring guest behavior, including minors and intoxicated individuals

• Keeping guests clear of power cords, equipment, and setup areas

• Supervising children around all Movie at Moonlight rentals and gear

Movie at Moonlight is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from negligence, misuse, or unsafe conditions beyond our control.

 

4. Damage to Equipment

The Host agrees to be financially responsible for:

• Any intentional or accidental damage to Movie at Moonlight equipment

• Loss or theft of equipment while in the Host’s care

• Costs of cleaning, repair, or full replacement of damaged items

A damage invoice will be issued if applicable and is due within 5 business days of receipt.

 

5. Right to Refuse or End Service

Movie at Moonlight reserves the right to refuse service or end an event early without refund if:

• The environment becomes unsafe

• Guests act inappropriately, aggressively, or illegally

• Equipment is at risk of damage due to weather or misuse

 

6. Indemnification

The Host agrees to indemnify and defend Movie at Moonlight against any third-party claims, legal fees, or damages arising out of the event, including those resulting from guest actions or unsafe event conditions.

 

7. Acknowledgment

By booking an event or signing this waiver, the Host acknowledges they have read and understand this Waiver & Liability Release, and that it shall remain in full effect for the duration of the event.
